This 1600-hectare estate sits beside the Alqueva Dam, Europe's largest artificial lake, surrounded by a stunning nature reserve and cork tree plantations. Sofia & Filipe own and manage one of the largest independent estates in the whole of the Alentejo, their primary focus is quality and their hotel, restaurant & wines are continually adorned by awards.
Their whites are fresh and zesty, benefiting from the cooling influence of the Guadiana River as well as the dam, their reds are rich, robust, spicy and have superb ageing potential.
